Emily Brooks
Violin
Emily enjoys performing across diverse genres such as classical, folk and indie whilst also enjoying front of house, early years and community music roles. Her interest in the violin was sparked aged 4 when she played a busker’s violin outside the Sydney Opera House whilst on holiday.
Emily thrives in collaborative performance, having performed in a variety of ensembles at
venues from classical concert halls to grassroots festivals. Recent notable performances
include work with the International Film Orchestra, Bath Opera and performances with
Cardiff-based band ‘Noon Wolf’. She loves to perform with the Everly Brothers by
Candlelight tour and is excited to share her energy and enthusiasm with audiences.
A 2024 graduate from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2024, Emily refined
skills in solo, chamber and orchestral performance alongside composition, teaching and
arts management. As a Benedetti Foundation Ambassador, she is dedicated to sharing her
love of music, believing music is essential for building communities and supporting
wellbeing. She aims to inspire a genuine love of learning in every child and young person
she works with.
