Lars Pluto

Guitar/Producer

With arguably the best name in show-business, Lars Pluto has the perfect voice and charisma for the stage.

Lars was born just outside Atlanta, Georgia to a family that was a touring Southern Baptist Gospel Bluegrass group. After living in Kentucky, Tennessee and Michigan, a decade in New York followed with Lars performing in several country and rockabilly bands before he moved to London. While there, he appeared in several West-End productions as Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison, as well as finding time for writing, recording and performing with rockabilly band 'The Boom Boom Booms' and his own original country combo 'Lars Pluto & the Reavers’, enjoying UK country singles chart success with his song "Dear Country Music" along with many festival appearances and performances throughout the UK.

In 2019, Lars had the pleasure of touring Australia and New Zealand with new theatre show Nashville Live which paid tribute to some of the biggest country stars of all time,  celebrating the atmosphere and energy of an evening in the home of country music. Most recently, he has done two tours of Canada with the Legends show, giving a captivating portrayal of Johnny Cash. Lars will also be touring the U.K. with Country Hits Live in the spring and in another Plutonium Stage Productions show Rhinestone Cowboy: The Glen Campbell Story.

Lars and Gerry have performed together many times, most notably in Rock n Roll Paradise and in the West End show, Be Bop a Lula.
